Itacitrus Project

Agriculture that creates Positive Impact

In Bahia, Brazil, an organic lemon orchard is turning sustainability into real value.

The Itacitrus Project, developed by Impacto Positivo in partnership with Eco Carbono Participações, is an initiative that unites organic agriculture, innovation, and carbon credits, showing that producing responsibly and protecting the planet can go hand in hand.

Sustainable agriculture with purpose

At Nossa Senhora do Bom Sucesso Farm, in Inhambupe (Bahia), 2,075 hectares are dedicated to the production of 100% organic Tahiti limes. The cultivation follows regenerative practices that preserve the soil, reduce emissions, and strengthen the local ecosystem.

From the Land to the World

Itacitrus exports organic limes to 11 countries, including the Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, Portugal, and the United Kingdom. Each fruit carries a story of environmental responsibility, ethical work, and commitment to future generations.

The goal is clear: to make the farm carbon neutral by 2026. Certification by Bureau Veritas and the issuance of the CPR Verde will allow the commercialization of carbon credits on Brazil’s B3 Stock Exchange, transforming sustainable practices into financial assets.
